It was written by Diane Warren & produced by Walter Afanasieff.

The music video for "Nothing Broken But My Heart" was released in August of 1992 & was directed by Lyne Charlebois.

The video was made for the edited version of the song because the original track version lasts almost six minutes.

The video features actors practicing the "Romeo & Juliet" play.

The song was Celine's second single which reached the number one position on the U.S. Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks (for a week).

In Canada, it peaked at number nineteen. It also topped the Canadian RPM Adult Contemporary chart.

In the United States, the song peaked at number twenty-nine on the Billboard Hot 100, number thirty-five on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart & number fourty-nine on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles Sales chart.

According to the Nielsen SoundScan, the single has sold 145,000 copies in the United States.
